I recently tried my hand at making doggy sweaters. We have 5 awesome cairn terriers all adopted from Col.Potter Cairn Rescue.com
they will each sport a new sweater this winter even living on the South we get cold here.

this was my first crochet item to wear other than scarfs , cowls, shawls. I love how it came out so soft and cozy and most of all it’s extremely fashion forward . I must give full credit to Mikey over at crochet crowd http://thecrochetcrowd.com/ it was his tutorial and pattern that made this happen. I changed it up just a little by adding the flowers in the front

Who ever said that must not have been aware of the new yarn line called CARON Cakes . In celebration of 100 years of making yarn CARON released these glorious cakes in several different color combinations . Colors with names like Macaroon , Royal Icing, Lilac frosting , and key lime to name a few. If you crochet these colors will have you drooling for another cake as soon as you finish the first one there’s just no stopping . The CARON cake yarns have a very soft hand and feel just like the skin on a soft peach and they hold up substantially well in projects . The color flow is amazing its a like a pool and being a new crocheter the mere fact that I do not have to weave in ends makes me even happier. I wanted to make something really special with this yarn so I combined the talents of two of my favorite crochet folks. One BobWilson123 and her scarf tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORF8AikHhCw&list=FLI5ugy52YkWi8xSycxf5a0A&index=1
I hope you like my scarf I’m pretty proud of how it came out – I can have my cake and eat it too!
