Who ever said that must not have been aware of the new yarn line called CARON Cakes . In celebration of 100 years of making yarn CARON released these glorious cakes in several different color combinations . Colors with names like Macaroon , Royal Icing, Lilac frosting , and key lime to name a few. If you crochet these colors will have you drooling for another cake as soon as you finish the first one there’s just no stopping . The CARON cake yarns have a very soft hand and feel just like the skin on a soft peach and they hold up substantially well in projects . The color flow is amazing its a like a pool and being a new crocheter the mere fact that I do not have to weave in ends makes me even happier. I wanted to make something really special with this yarn so I combined the talents of two of my favorite crochet folks. One BobWilson123 and her scarf tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORF8AikHhCw&list=FLI5ugy52YkWi8xSycxf5a0A&index=1
I hope you like my scarf I’m pretty proud of how it came out – I can have my cake and eat it too!

What is your happiest memory? Describe it in rich detail — the setting, the sights, the sounds, the smells.
Creating from the heart takes times, you need to think about, plan it, try it , fail, try it again, fail, try it again . Over time and lots of practice things you really want to try become reality you just need to take your time do your research and then make it happen. Creating and learning is one of my greatest joys and a life long passion. If I pass something on that makes someone happy or I can make a difference socially then it’s all worth it

I love to Crochet – I especially enjoy all variations of yarn and have started a really nice stash – I cannot go to a store without browsing the yarn shelves looking for those special colors and discounts. Sometimes they call my name and ending up in my cart just the same …

recently I have taught myself how to crochet , I have finished several projects which I’m very proud of . Of course, any expert crocheter will most likely be able to identify my missed stitches, or where I added new color , but hey .. I’m working on it . Thank goodness for the many “You tube” tutorials and very helpful teachers it really makes s it fun to learn .
